Fingerpainting Afternoon

These are some of my favorite pictures ever. They're of Chris and our niece Caroline fingerpainting last Christmas. I got Chris fingerpaints for Christmas, and the two of them spent the entire afternoon fingerpainting. I love looking at the pictures and remembering how much fun they both had!

Milwaukee Museum of Art

These are recent pics - when we went to Wisconsin for Christmas, we went to the Milwaukee Museum of Art. As I'm sure you can tell from the pictures, the building itself is amazing! Oh yes - the layouts are straight in real life...not quite sure why they scanned so crooked!

Wedded Bliss

I love how this one turned out. These are pictures from Pete & Becky's wedding two summers ago. It's hard to see, but the pictures of the hotel sign say "Congratulations" on one and "Mr. & Mrs. Cookson" on the other.

Opening Day

How nice of baseball to schedule Opening Day on my birthday last year! This is also my layout for a challenge to create a page only using scraps (and the one big piece of cardstock for the base!).

Piece of Cake

A very simple layout from the cake decorating class Bridget and I took last year! I'm so glad I ended up taking pictures of our cakes...I don't know about Bridget, but I haven't made any of those crazy roses since! :)

Ocracoke 2007

Ocracoke Island is by far one of my favorite places on Earth! This layout is for my anniversary album - I do a layout each year of whatever we do to celebrate our anniversary (since we always go and do something!). This year we were on Ocracoke Island for our anniversary!

Totally InSOXicated

This is my second layout for the L.O.A.D. (layout a day) challenge for January. And, shockingly, my first Red Sox layout for the blog! These are from last summer...lots and lots of pictures of my favorite World Champions! :)

Fun at the Park

I love scrapbooking challenges, and I joined another group this week. This one is pretty simple - a layout a day for the month of January. There are tons of talented women participating (you have to post your layout to the challenge gallery each day) and fun prizes too. This is my layout for January 1 - adorable pictures of our niece Caroline at the park! Oh yeah - with these big two page layouts, if you click on the page, it will take you to a nice big version of the page!! :)

Apple Lantern

My entry for this week's progressive challenge. I'm not a huge fan of the layout, but I love the pictures. Last year we didn't get a pumpkin for Halloween, so Chris suggested he carve an apple instead. When I said I didn't think he could do it, he couldn't pass up the challenge. (yes, that's his apple lantern on our front steps, complete with a birthday candle inside!)
